atlasHR runs the people side of a business: who works where and when, who’s on holiday, what everyone gets paid, and the paperwork that goes with all of it. It’s built for UK employment law from the ground up.
What it does
- Rotas and attendance. Shift planning, clocking in and out, holidays, absence and UK bank holidays.
- Payroll. Pay runs with HMRC Real Time Information, so the numbers go straight to the taxman.
- Recruitment. A careers portal and applicant tracking, from advert to first day.
- Documents. Contracts and policies with e-signatures, stored against each employee.
- Everything else. Team chat, stock control, reporting, audit logs and GDPR tools.
How it’s built
Each customer company lives in its own space inside one installation (multi-tenant), with its own branding if it wants it. It’s plain PHP and MySQL, grown one module at a time, with every module kept working while the next was built.
It’s also built to stay up. A standby copy runs in a separate data centre and takes over within minutes if the main server goes down. We test that for real, not just on paper.
